There are five levels of assessment built in to CDX ARK+:
Knowledge Checks - 649 quick interactive reinforcement activities immediately check a learner's knowledge of the key points of each Topic. (The results of these formative activities are not recorded)
Topic Group Tests - 180 short tests, each with 5 to 10 questions, confirm a learner's recall and understanding of the content in each of the Topic Groups.
Find-the-missing-word quizzes - Unlike most types of test, these 180 quizzes do not test a learner's knowledge or recall. Instead, these activities have a very different purpose. They require the learner to review content from a Topic Group, and to find and accurately transcribe certain pieces of information - a skill that all technicians need, but some find very difficult without extensive practice.
Practice Exams - These short and always different 10-question exams prepare students for the more extensive final exams. Drawing questions from the same extensive question banks, learners can practice as many times as they like until they feel confident and ready to tackle the final exams.
Final Exams - These searching examinations are based on each of the main menu categories in CDX Plus. Each exam contains 30-50 questions, depending on the size of the subject area, and each exam is unique, timed, and fully randomized.
